Sarah J. Maas released 'A Court of Splintered Harmony,' the sixth ACOTAR novel, on October 27, 2026, ending a five-year gap between installments. The series began in 2015 and has sold 100 million copies worldwide, with the ACOTAR hashtag used more than two million times on BookTok, and bookstores held midnight parties for the release. The discussion so far frames the book as a BookTok-era blockbuster drop rather than a literary event. No segment has yet weighed the novel's reception against that framing.
