Amazon announced the Bee Frontier wristband and Bee Eclipse phone attachment on October 15, 2026, priced at $74.99 and $99.99 with an $11.99 monthly Bee Pro subscription. The devices process audio in real time and delete it, with transcripts encrypted by keys held on the device, and Amazon's Bee team says it keeps the transcript rather than the audio file. Reporting has since established that Bee Pro integrations include Amazon shopping suggestions drawn from recorded conversations. Whether the on-device design answers the privacy objections remains contested.
