Apple announced a new Apple TV 4K on October 13, 2026, with an A19 chip, Siri AI, far-field microphones and a Siri Remote that supports Find My and precision finding, at $299, shipping November 13. The discussion has since added two details: the box pairs with up to four HomePods for surround sound, and the remote is located via Bluetooth channel sounding. It is treated as the long-awaited refresh of a set-top box Apple had not updated since 2022.
