Crown Jewel security warnings

Sports · Heat 3.0 / 10 · 2 shows · 40m airtime

The U.S. Embassy in Riyadh issued a security alert on October 21, 2026, warning of further attacks as WWE Crown Jewel proceeded. Construction on the makeshift stadium continued despite a U.S. evacuation order and the alert, and a world tag team title match, Penta and Javon Evans versus Bron Breaker and Austin Theory, was announced. WWE then moved Crown Jewel to the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, the same venue as Canelo's Saturday fight, over construction delays, refunding all tickets and re-releasing them within 48 hours. The Tom Brady football event in Saudi Arabia was canceled, and UFC production staff face a five-hour drive from Bahrain because Riyadh airport is closed.
