On October 14, Garrett Discovery released a 292-page review of Nolan Wells' digital communications, much of it Snapchat, in the case of his July 4 disappearance off Horn Island, Mississippi. A DMR contact has since said a girl saw someone on a boat screaming at Nolan to get on before it left. The girl, whose name is redacted, rode out on someone's boat, met Nolan for the first time, and later spoke with investigators and Nolan's mother. The message timeline and the witness account are now weighed against a grand jury finding no evidence of a crime.
