On October 21, Washington Commanders receiver Terry McLaurin tore his patellar tendon against the San Francisco 49ers and was ruled out for the season. He had been carted off early in the game and appeared to be wearing an air cast. The discussion so far centers on how Washington replaces him, with Stefon Diggs the leading internal option and trade targets floated as alternatives. Nothing has been settled beyond the injury and the season-ending designation.
