The New England Patriots beat the New York Jets 26-19 on October 19, 2026, in Week 6. A.J. Brown, designated to return from injured reserve the day before, had three receptions for 27 yards and a career-high three drops in his return. Drake Maye has ten touchdowns and zero turnovers since halftime of the Bills game, and is the first quarterback with three passing touchdowns in three straight games since Tom Brady in 2007. The Jets have been outscored 96-7 inside two minutes this season. The open question is whether Brown's volume returns or the drops persist.
