# Seinfeld's Chicago heckler meltdown

Comedy · Heat 1.2 / 10 · 2 shows · 15m airtime

On October 9, 2026, Jerry Seinfeld was interrupted by Gaza protesters at a Chicago performance who accused him of supporting Israel's military campaign and shouted that 74,000 Palestinians had been killed. Seinfeld replied 'I'm a racist,' danced as a female protester was removed, and told a heckler he would send the ticket price to Israel and then keep it. The discussion condemns him, weighs the genocide accusation against Bernie Sanders' 2025 declaration and a UN commission of inquiry, and warns against conflating criticism of Israel with antisemitism.

Plays the viral clip and floats a setup theory - multiple camera angles, well-mixed hecklers - while noting Seinfeld has not confirmed the quotes and mainstream media had not covered it as of Wednesday. Speculation and recap, not a new development.
- [The Jimmy Dore Show](https://boilpoints.com/u/thejimmydoreshow), 2026-10-19, 19:29 to 33:32: **Plays the Seinfeld heckler exchange**. Takes up the Seinfeld heckler story from The Times of Israel and plays the exchange straight: the 'I'm a racist' reply, the ticket-money-to-Israel line, the dancing during the removal. Then widens to the genocide accusation, citing Sanders and the UN inquiry, and to the antisemitism conflation. New angle: Seinfeld told a heckler he would send the ticket price to Israel, then said he would keep it.
