On Saturday Night Live on October 10, 2026, Shane Gillis joked that women at the gym dress like "H-O-R-E-S." Dan Levy posted a video over the weekend criticizing the joke and calling for standing up for women. Grace Brassell then posted a crying-video compilation from before the monologue and a workout video after it saying "be a young hoe and be free." The discussion splits between those who say it was clearly a joke and those who say the word should not be said, with hosts siding with Gillis and questioning why Levy responded.
