# The Golden Life premiere

Pop culture · Heat 3.3 / 10 · 4 shows · 27m airtime

E! premiered The Golden Life on October 22, 2026, a Palm Beach reality series featuring six former RHONY cast members. Reporting has established that E! is no longer part of Peacock, leaving viewers unsure where to find the show, and that it streams on Hulu. Early claims that its ratings surpassed the RHONJ reboot's are now contested: no confirmed Nielsen figures exist for the premiere, with reports ranging from 75,000 to over a million viewers. Why Bravo passed on the show, and whether Sonja Morgan's nostalgia keeps it stuck in the past, remain open.

Reviews the 90-minute premiere and adds two figures not yet on the record: the show streams on Hulu, and its ratings beat the RHONJ reboot. The rest is cast dynamics - Dorinda's Threads posts, the group's beef with Sonja - and a critique of the lower production value. New angle: The Golden Life's ratings surpassed the RHONJ reboot's, and the show streams on Hulu.

Revisits The Golden Life premiere and finds no confirmed Nielsen figures, only conflicting reports of 75,000, 700,000 and over a million viewers. Adds that Hulu has officially picked up the show outside E!, and relays Andy Cohen blaming Jill Zarin's favored-nations demand for sinking the RHONY legacy show. New angle: No confirmed Nielsen figures exist for The Golden Life premiere; reports range from 75,000 to over a million viewers.
- [Everything Iconic with Danny Pellegrino](https://boilpoints.com/u/everythingiconicwithdannypellegrino), 2026-10-29, 59:09 to 1:01:03: **Recaps episode two and pans the old quotes**. Danny's review of episode two: he is not excited, and he dislikes the show's reliance on old RHONY quotes and storylines. He argues Ramona and Dorinda are moving forward while Sonja and Luann dwell on the past. Opinion and recap, no new development.
