Yung Miami announced her debut solo album on October 2, 2026, describing a two-year process and a mental breakdown during its making. Watch This arrived October 23; it was first titled Yams, and she asked her label for three more weeks to rework it. Jeezy declined a guest verse, saying he wanted to create something new. She also says she was dropped from QC at the same time as the City Girls breakup and a relationship issue. The release ships with 21 tracks on some versions and 12 on others, with the JT diss at track 19. The discussion centers on whether she can find a solo sound outside City Girls.
