Tallahassee police arrested 15-year-old Anthony Rivers III on October 25 and charged him with 11 counts of attempted second-degree murder and illegal firearm possession by a delinquent over a shooting near Florida A&M's football stadium around 8 p.m., hours after the homecoming game. The police chief said a physical altercation preceded the shots and none of the injured appear to have been intended targets. A judge ordered Rivers held in juvenile detention as prosecutors prepare to try him as an adult; arraignment is tentatively set for November 16. Reporting since has established that six of the 12 injured are adults and six are juveniles, with the youngest gunshot victim 11 years old.
