Recaps the test and debates Meta's share
Recaps the Features test and the smart-TV rollout, then argues about who Meta takes share from. The Nielsen streaming shares and the YouTube payout comparison are context, not new reporting; the prediction that Nielsen will report on Meta stays a prediction.
• Marissa Mayer's Dazzle, 2026-10-30
Relitigates Mayer's Yahoo tenure after backlash
Recaps the Mayer-Dazzle backlash and Mayer's claim she was testing the app, then spends most of the segment relitigating her Yahoo tenure - the revenue cut, the EBITDA halving, the $110 million sales hire. Reaction and background, no new development.
• DOJ queries Hugging Face deal, 2026-10-30
Flags DOJ inquiry inside circular-deals rundown
Runs through Nvidia's circular deals - $3 billion into Meta's roughly $100 billion raise, AMD's $1 billion - and flags the DOJ's Hugging Face inquiry as one more thing hanging over the company. The antitrust thread is a passing mention inside a broader circular-financing argument.
• Microsoft AI buyouts, 2026-10-30
Frames Microsoft buyout as K-shaped workforce
Runs the Microsoft and Alphabet earnings side by side: the beat, Azure's 48% growth, capex below expectations, and the 60,000-person buyout framed as a K-shaped tech workforce. The buyout is a recap of the week's coverage, and the Alphabet numbers are a separate story.

• Starlink throttled for Ukraine, 2026-10-27
Reports Musk's admission on Starlink access
Covers Musk's admission that SpaceX restricted Ukraine's Starlink access, the terms-of-service claim Ukraine disputes, and the return to normal speeds after more than a week of disruption. Frames it as proof of one unaccountable billionaire's power over battlefield decisions.
• Anthropic's $2T IPO slip, 2026-10-27
Walks the S-1 numbers and risk factors
Walks the S-1 top to bottom: first-half revenue, the $80 billion net loss and its convertible-bond accounting, the compute commitments, the 94 pages of risk factors and the founders' 50.1% voting stake. Scott's $2 trillion call and the risk list are opinion layered on numbers already on the record.
• Alaska result lawsuit, 2026-10-27
Opens the Alaska suit and Musk's spending
Opens a new story: the DOJ suit to block certification of Alaska's Senate race, with Blanche's denial, then pivots to Musk's latest $76 million and the anti-Talarico spending.
• Serbia's student upset, 2026-10-27
Reads the election batch as one global story
Runs through a batch of elections - Lula's re-election in Brazil, Serbia's student-led upset, Israel's vote on Netanyahu - and reads them as one global story: young voters pushing back on corruption and unaffordability. Serbia gets the most enthusiasm; the rest is framing.
• Texas Senate nail-biter, 2026-10-25
Opens the Texas Senate race as voting starts
Opens the Texas Senate race as early voting starts: Talarico up two in RealClearPolitics, more than $500 million in ad spending, and New York Times focus groups of 2024 Trump voters calling Paxton a crook. Stays with the panel's read on candidate quality and Talarico's response ad.
• Louisiana v. Callais ruling, 2026-10-25
Describes the blacklash after the ruling
Turns to the Supreme Court ruling that struck Louisiana's second majority-black district, with Terrence Woodbury describing a "blacklash" of increased black turnout and engagement and Dave Wasserman calling the decision the end of the last guardrail for black majority seats.
• Senate map tightens, 2026-10-25
Previews 13 competitive Senate races two weeks out
Lays out the Senate map two weeks out: 13 competitive races, Michigan as the shakiest Democratic hold, North Carolina as the best pickup, and a 48-to-54 seat range. A separate story from the House race shifts earlier in the episode.
• Cook moves 11 House races, 2026-10-25
Walks through 11 House races shifted toward Democrats
Wasserman walks through the House map two weeks out: 11 races shifted toward Democrats on district polls running five to ten points better than expected, mid-decade redistricting netted Republicans only three or four seats, and the median outcome is a Democratic gain of 15 to 20.
• Character AI bankruptcy, 2026-10-23
  Recaps the prepackaged bankruptcy
Recaps the Character AI bankruptcy as a prepackaged deal that wiped out shareholders, then pivots to predictions about who wins AI. The bankruptcy material stays inside what the filing coverage already established; the Meta-versus-Google argument is opinion.

• Musk floats SpaceX-Tesla merger, 2026-10-23
  Calls the merger committee kabuki
Walks the SpaceX and Tesla third-quarter numbers and treats the special committee as a kabuki dance: the merger is a foregone conclusion to bail out Tesla and keep Musk in control. Flags AI compute concentration and Starlink regulatory blowback.
• Tesla Roadster demo, 2026-10-20
Pivots from the demo to falling deliveries
Names the Roadster its fail of the week, then pivots from the demo to Tesla's core business: deliveries fell in 2024 and again in 2025, and BYD has passed Tesla in EV sales. The stunts, they argue, are cover for a shrinking auto business.
• Super Intelligence Task Force, 2026-10-20
Argues the task force lacks teeth
Recaps the task force's first meeting and its 120-day push, then argues the panel has no technical expertise, no enforcement teeth and no independence from the companies. Opinion and framing on a meeting already on the record.

Breaks down the shakeup and blames the co-CEOs
Breaks down the Netflix leadership shakeup: Bajaria out, Peter Rice in, Dan Lin fired. Frames it around a stock down nearly 40 percent and argues the blame should sit with the co-CEOs above her, not the content chief.
